The process
A scoped migration, in four steps
We never switch over blindly. Every migration is prepared, tested and executed in phases, with a fallback point at each step. Your business does not stop.
Audit of the existing setup
We map your current data, emails, files and services, and identify what can be brought back and how.
Migration plan
We define the Swiss target, the schedule, and a switchover strategy with downtime kept to a minimum. You validate the scope and the price before we start.
Migration with coexistence
We migrate in phases, with a coexistence period where old and new run side by side, then a final switchover in a slot chosen with you.
Verification and handover
We check that everything works, train your teams if needed, and hand over the documentation. The data included in the migrated scope is hosted in Switzerland.

The migration is an IT Project: audit, planned switchover and documentation, at a fixed fee defined on request after scoping. Typically expect between CHF 1,500 and CHF 8,000 depending on the volume of data and the number of mailboxes, excluding hosting and licence costs. With no fixed-term commitment.

We work mainly with Infomaniak, an independent Swiss host whose datacenters are in Switzerland (Geneva and Lucerne) and certified ISO 27001. Depending on your needs, we use its kSuite suite (mail, kDrive, etc.) or other equivalent Swiss infrastructure. The goal: your data stays under Swiss jurisdiction.
We plan a coexistence phase where the old and the new system run side by side, then a final switchover in a slot chosen with you, often in the evening or at the weekend. The perceptible interruption is kept to a minimum.
The migration is an IT Project billed at a fixed fee, defined on request after a scoping audit. Typically expect between CHF 1,500 and CHF 8,000 depending on the volume of data, the number of mailboxes and the complexity of your services, excluding hosting and licence costs. The price stays fixed: no hourly billing that runs away mid-project, and no fixed-term commitment. For ongoing management of the cloud once migrated, AlpenCare managed IT takes over.
Yes, fully or partially. Many SMEs want to reduce their dependence on American clouds for reasons of sovereignty or cost. We migrate to equivalent Swiss alternatives (email, files, video conferencing) while keeping your data and your history. We can also keep Microsoft 365 but bring the backups back to Switzerland, depending on your choice.
That is the goal of this service for the scope validated together. The data migrated to the services we operate is placed on Swiss infrastructure, mainly Infomaniak. If you choose to keep certain third-party tools outside Switzerland, we document it clearly and propose the possible alternatives.
You are free. You can manage your new environment yourself with the documentation provided, or entrust its day-to-day management to us via AlpenCare managed IT (which includes monitoring, backups and support). No commitment is imposed.
